An 80 GHz radar concentrates its beam into a narrow cone, so it ignores tank walls, agitators and internal fittings, and it is not affected by vapour, temperature or pressure changes the way ultrasonic sensors can be. That makes it the most reliable non-contact choice for chemical, solvent and process tanks.
